About the VS 2 steel wood burning stove
Standing 1000 mm high on a 800 × 515 mm footprint, the VS 2 weighs 185 kg and covers roughly 150–200 m² – the largest heating area of any steel model we make. The tall format reads as a single architectural column and puts the flames at eye level from a sofa or dining table. It connects to a Ø 152 mm flue.
Against the wide VS 1 and the oven-equipped VS 3, the VS 2 is the choice when sheer heated area matters most. Dealers in colder regions often make it their flagship steel stove, with the VS 1 as the design-led alternative. Help customers match output to floor space using our wood stove sizing guide, and remember that insulation and ceiling height shift the real figure. The VS 2 steel wood burning stove is also available in RAL colours for private-label ranges.
Vesper, the evening star, gives its name to our heavy steel stoves: clean architectural lines, a wide panoramic window and integrated log storage or a baking oven.
The VS 2 is part of our Vesper collection, where you can compare every size and finish side by side.
VS 2 steel wood burning stove – frequently asked questions
How large an area can the VS 2 heat?
The VS 2 is rated for about 150–200 m². The real figure depends on insulation, ceiling height, room layout and local climate, so a well-insulated home may need less and an old stone house more. Send us the floor plan and we will help you confirm the right model.
What flue diameter does the VS 2 need?
The VS 2 has a Ø 152 mm flue outlet. Before installation, a qualified installer or chimney sweep should check the chimney’s condition, height and draft, and confirm clearances against local building rules. Test reports and declarations for relevant standards (e.g. EN 13240, EN 13229) are available on request.
Can the VS 2 be customised under our own brand?
Yes. We offer OEM and private-label options including your logo, RAL colour, door, handle and leg designs, log store or oven modules where the body allows, custom packaging and multilingual manuals. Tell us your target market and we will propose the changes that make sense for the VS 2.
What is the MOQ, sample policy and lead time for the VS 2?
We keep trial MOQs low and the VS 2 can be mixed with other models in one container. Samples ship by sea or rail, with the cost credited against your first container. Standard models usually leave the factory 30–45 days after deposit, after 100 % pre-shipment inspection with photo reports.
Which test documents are available for the VS 2?
Test reports and declarations for relevant standards, such as EN 13240 for freestanding stoves or EN 13229 for inset appliances, are available on request for qualified models. Importers should check the rules of their market, for example the EU Ecodesign regulation. Tell us where you sell the VS 2 and we will confirm which documents apply.
