What to ask a wood stove supplier before you order
Choosing a wood stove supplier is a long-term decision, so we answer the practical questions first. Below you will find what distributors, importers and project buyers ask us most: order quantities, lead times, samples, documents, packing, spare parts and private label. If your question is not covered, contact our export team — we reply within one business day. Answers are kept short and factual; full details are confirmed in your written offer.
A good wood stove supplier should answer compliance questions as clearly as questions on price. In the EU, solid-fuel heaters fall under the Ecodesign regulation, and national rules may add their own limits. We provide test reports and declarations for relevant standards on request for qualified models. For background on emission rules and what they mean for dealers, read our guide to wood stove emission regulations.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For trial orders we accept mixed models in one container. Exact MOQs depend on the models and any customisation — contact us for a tailored offer.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard models usually ship within 30–45 days after deposit. Custom or OEM projects are scheduled after sample approval. Peak season (July–October) should be planned early.
Do your stoves comply with European standards?
Test reports and declarations for relevant standards such as EN 13240, EN 13229 and EN 14785 are available for qualified models on request. Please tell us your target market.
Can I order samples?
Yes. Sample units can be shipped by sea or rail; sample costs can be credited against your first container order.
Do you offer private label (OEM / ODM)?
Yes — from logo and colour changes to fully custom designs. See our OEM / ODM page for details.
What payment terms do you accept?
Typically T/T with deposit and balance before shipment. Other terms can be discussed for long-term partners.
How are the stoves packed for export?
Each unit is fixed on a wooden pallet with protective foam and a reinforced carton, ready for container loading.
Do you provide spare parts and after-sales support?
Yes. Gaskets, glass, grates, vermiculite panels and pellet-stove electronics are available, and our team supports your technicians remotely.
How is a mixed container loaded?
Each stove travels on its own wooden pallet with foam and a reinforced carton. When you mix models, we plan the loading by pallet size and weight so the container is filled efficiently and heavy units sit safely. You receive a packing list and photo reports before the container leaves.
Which documents do I receive for customs clearance?
We prepare the standard export documents for each shipment, including the commercial invoice and packing list. Tell us what your customs broker needs for your country before shipment, and we will prepare it with the order. Product test reports for qualified models are available on request.
Do you provide product data and photos for dealers?
Yes. Partners receive product photography, catalogues, product videos and multilingual product data, including dimensions, weights, heating areas and flue sizes. This makes it quick to list our stoves on your website, in your showroom and with your own retailers.
What warranty do you offer?
Warranty terms depend on the model, the market and the type of partnership. Please ask us for warranty terms when you request a quote, and we will set them out clearly in your offer. Spare parts such as gaskets, glass and grates are available throughout.
