About the LA 2 inset wood burning stove
With only 445 mm of depth, the LA 2 fits recesses where deeper inserts such as the LA 1 cannot. Its 690 × 790 mm front gives a tall flame picture, and at 150 kg it heats around 100–120 m². Convection air circulates around the firebox and leaves through the cladding grilles, spreading warmth across connected rooms. It uses a Ø 200 mm flue.
Installers often choose this model when converting an open fireplace into a cleaner, controlled fire without rebuilding the chimney. What flue diameter does the LA 2 need?
The LA 2 has a Ø 200 mm flue outlet. Before installation, a qualified installer or chimney sweep should check the chimney’s condition, height and draft, and confirm clearances against local building rules. Test reports and declarations for relevant standards (e.g. EN 13240, EN 13229) are available on request.
Can the LA 2 be customised under our own brand?
