About the VT 1 cast iron wood stove

With a body of just 550 × 700 × 450 mm and a weight of 103 kg, the VT 1 fits into corners and narrow chimney breasts where larger stoves will not go. It is sized for around 50–60 m², and its machined cast-iron door and frame give a tight, reassuring close. The Ø 152 mm flue suits most liners.

Cast iron warms up more gently than steel but keeps radiating heat after the fire dies down, which is exactly what small, well-insulated rooms need. Step customers up to the VT 4 or VT 2 if they have more space to heat. For many dealers, the VT 1 cast iron wood stove becomes the price-entry model of the shop floor. Our article on cast iron vs steel wood stoves gives your staff the arguments in plain language.

Vesta, goddess of the hearth, inspires our classic cast iron stoves — timeless silhouettes, superb heat retention and a warm, traditional character.

The VT 1 is part of our Vesta collection, where you can compare every size and finish side by side.

VT 1 cast iron wood stove – frequently asked questions

How large an area can the VT 1 heat?

The VT 1 is rated for about 50–60 m². The real figure depends on insulation, ceiling height, room layout and local climate, so a well-insulated home may need less and an old stone house more. Send us the floor plan and we will help you confirm the right model.

What flue diameter does the VT 1 need?

The VT 1 has a Ø 152 mm flue outlet. Before installation, a qualified installer or chimney sweep should check the chimney’s condition, height and draft, and confirm clearances against local building rules. Test reports and declarations for relevant standards (e.g. EN 13240, EN 13229) are available on request.

Can the VT 1 be customised under our own brand?

Yes. We offer OEM and private-label options including your logo, RAL colour, door, handle and leg designs, log store or oven modules where the body allows, custom packaging and multilingual manuals. Tell us your target market and we will propose the changes that make sense for the VT 1.

What is the MOQ, sample policy and lead time for the VT 1?

We keep trial MOQs low and the VT 1 can be mixed with other models in one container. Samples ship by sea or rail, with the cost credited against your first container. Standard models usually leave the factory 30–45 days after deposit, after 100 % pre-shipment inspection with photo reports.

Which test documents are available for the VT 1?

Test reports and declarations for relevant standards, such as EN 13240 for freestanding stoves or EN 13229 for inset appliances, are available on request for qualified models. Importers should check the rules of their market, for example the EU Ecodesign regulation. Tell us where you sell the VT 1 and we will confirm which documents apply.
